Many people disapprove of our fascination with the undead or zombies as many of you know them as, but what if what they are trying to disapprove is real? It is a possibility right? If you take the time to think about it something like that could occur any day at any time any ware and more than likely without warning from any type of government. Now what if outbreaks are already taking place, but then you say “if they already are occurring then how come I don’t know?” The reason why you, an average civilian, do not know is because the governments that have this occurring in their areas of authority don’t want you to know. These countries may be your own, or they could be some third world country lacking the resources to communicate the strange illness that has spread throughout their small and unlivable countries. Now think if these outbreaks are occurring in these small countries and our government knows what are they doing to stop it? Maybe they are and are not being very successful. What if our idea of a zombie being slow moving and not very intelligent was so far off and the real thing was much more deadly? how can a zombie be even more deadly than it already is? Well what if our idea isn’t even close to what people picture as zombies, know, and love, aren’t the ones other countries are currently facing? Think about this now, these zombies are smart and fast, they can think for themselves making it nearly impossible to avoid, and survive contact with these undead menaces. Then every possible plan that we may have ever created, would be wrong. Every book, movie, TV show, would not now or ever be correct. These comprehensive, fast, intelligent, zombies may only be zombies by the way they act, having a thirst for human flesh and stopping at noting to get it. Now what if these zombies do that but have enhanced animal instincts, sight, sound, and the most deadly smell. It would be impossible to hide and then the possibility of these “super zombies” having the ability to out run a human being by a long shot. This type of zombie would be nearly unstoppable, why do I say nearly? Because like humans and animals they would fight for dormancy. It would be possible that these zombies would do this and if they did it could also mean that they would fight to the death. Now many people that I have told this to said that they would just sit and wait it out. That would cause the death of them. It’s not that the concept of it would not work its why; you would have to be in a well fortified base fully stocked with food to last you several years, and who’s to say that they would die out in a few years what if they last longer? Then by then your base would be weak from years of undead hands pounding on it meaning that it would most likely crumble, and then the undead that are left would flow in the masses fighting to get to their long awaited meal. Well that’s out right so what’s left to do? You can’t out run them for more supplies. You won’t have very good chances of making it to a new shelter.

iv got something else to rant about, like how all those little f*****s think its easy to hit some1 in the head with any gun in any shooting position, and they have no idea what adrenalin does to their body, the most they have ever been pumped up with adrenalin is when their mom walks in on them masturbating, and they think they can shoot some1 in the head from 20 yards away while running, out of breath, tunnel vision is kicking in, their target is moving, and this is the first time they have ever fired a gun before.... i f****g hate little kids

You raise an excellent point for several reasons: 1) What is the evolutionary benefit in being slow and stupid? 2) There are viruses that affect the nervous system for hours, sometimes days, after death and induce twitching and other such movements. 3) If these creatures were intelligent, of course they would start in the areas least likely to be noticed and work their way up the food chain, so to speak. And, if these creatures, hypothetically, were smart and fast, human kind would stand very little chance unless it could play on some other defect in the creatures. Maybe by increasing the rate of decay to degrade their motor functions. Aside from that, it would be extremely difficult to fight something with that level of intelligence. They would begin hunting in packs that would be literally unstoppable, herding victims into a corner and overtaking them. Not to mention, there wouldn’t be a shelter; if it could be overcome, it would be. Even in the basic guides for the slow, stupid variety, a single zombie can overcome a barrier more effectively than three or four determined healthy men. Imagine what this ’new’ breed could accomplish. And considering this new breed would be so smart and fast, they may not even take to eating too many right away. They would infect us first, increase their numbers, and then breed the remaining for food. If that’s not disturbing, I don’t know what is. Even creepier, is the fact that to maintain this speed and intelligence, the virus or parasite would actually have to reverse the side effects of decay. Meaning their adrenal glands and such would function at a rate at least twice that of a normal human being. Moreover, if they weren’t decaying, they could procreate...a entirely new breed of zombie...literally.

The truth is that none of us really know what the situation is gonna consist of until it happens. I suggest you do what i am doing. Prepare for all aspects of zombies. Fast, slow, mutated, etc... Try to have several plans for all types. If you Try to build a fortress, then try to build it to withstand the most dangerous type. then it should be safe for all of them.

I agree with you, We have to be prepared for anything which is why James has asked me to write something for you all to have as a refuge or leg to fall back on. I can't give any inside information on the study, but I will say you all should love it.

well i'm pretty sure it'l be absolutly awesome wen u finish knowing u .... so i r rly PO'ed atm cause i just took a couple quizes on facebook about surviving zombie attacks. i took 2 quizes here wer my results... "you will survive" and 50 % of survival. that is nit true and i know it. but heres the cherry on top. During the tests i looked at the questions carefully knowing the correct answer to every1. here is one of the questions: u are at the grovcery store wat do u get? (this is during zombie attack). well heres the answers. A.) not hungry B.) Take nothing its ilegal. C.) Grab chips,beer, and anything else good. D.) grab canned food and energy drink...... now i choose D because even tho it has energy drink in it its still cannde goods. wat made me mad was that every question had no correct answers and all the correct answer point to the "saddle up and kick some ass' theory WHICH WE KNOW DOESN'T WORK!!! this rly pisses me off because it shows how sad it is for a zombie noob to EVEN TRY to create a quiz on surviving a zombie attack. now idk about wat u guys think of this but it hits me pretty freaking hard

i think they are totally fucking gay, more than half of them suck balls, and the other half are not that great either, after taking the test 2 or 3 times though you understand the persons logic and can easily get perfect on the test

heh i will say i have seen quite a few (if not all) of the newer zombie movies and watnot. and i think about wat the people should/shouldn't have done in order to live.

lol, i hardly doubt you have seen them all, maybe some day I will post the names of all zombie movies I have watched, and the names of the ones I havn't watched, but it deserves a topic itself atleast

Forgive me for steering this topic away a bit...but I'm a storyteller with the intent of making an independent film, with of course, zombies. And the thing is...I've been looking for a good angle that hasn't been brought up in movies before and since this is YOUR topic James, I was wondering if I could use it.

ahhhh constantly tlking about zombies and surviving the zombie apoclypse just makes u want it happen rite now become a class 4 attack. just to have the chance to prove the world wrong about zombies, every person that has ever made fun of us for our obsession with these undead dead or dying. the chance to show our worth to every1 else and be right. such a thing we only dream and prepare for. but it wil come. zed's will come and we may not be ready at the exact moment but in general we will be ready. the world needs to be started anew were only the most important thing exists.... survival........ that has been some srs ranting

And they'll be asking us for help and protection against the undead.
