I've always liked the idea of employing razor wire to defenses. Also, if using
something like plywood, you could drill screws and nails through the boards so
that clawing zombies get their hands and arms torn up. Just make sure the
screws or nails are strong enough that they won't be immediately bent or
broken.

I'm thinking as a temporary defense. digging a trench and using the dirt to set
up a low wall of sandbags. of course that idea also runs with the need of
manpower and bags. bags would be easy to get its the manpower that is really
needed. now this would only be temporary. once the sandbag wall is finished.
with two seperate walls about 8 ft maybe between them. work can start on the
main walls. given the time and resources needed. I would personally line the
sides of the inside of the sandbag walls with wood. and then fill that area
with steel reinforced concrete. up to about 10 ft up. set up an extra slab of
concrete. about 5 ft extra on top outside of the wall to create a sort of
castle style walls. Now that woul be alot of resources and manpower needed to
complete that. wich is why i say set up the trench and sandbag walls right away
to protect the area until a main wall can be completed. I'm very open to
critics so do your worst. if its constructive i'l learn something i mtie have
missed. so keep it constructive

Love the farm idea. Has many trees around for seclusion.

Yea. Manpower is truly downfall for it though. its a big place so it wil lbe
hard to create defenses for it all with who i'v got right now. anyone and
everyone who can help is welcome. If thers any other idea for a good temporary
defense thats easy to create with minimal resoucres and manpower needed please
tell me and i'l see what sort of plan i can come up with.

It is a large place, however you can create however large or small of a
defensive perimeter as you want. 10 feet between your SH and the defensive
barrier should be enough. |
