First, please use the proper punctuation marks. Second, please don't use IM
speak. I live near LA. I would go to the Scientology HQ just because I think it would be ironic. In all seriousness, I would find a nice brick building with more than two floors and barricade as well as I can. Either that or I would travel to Hollywood and take a nice tour of the film studios. They have pleanty of supplies and more than enough space inside the building to qualify as a meaningful HQ. |

That would be pretty ironic and I live 2 hours from Memphis so I would go to
the railroad depot because a lot of the rail cars are close together and to
other flat roofed buildings plus there's a security office there with a couple
weapons I could use.

Thank you for changing the name (unless it was someone else). That would be cool, however are you planning to live on the roof of the train cars or is it as a means of just moving about? |

not sure what you meant by the moving out part and yes i did change it if you
mean what i think you mean then yes its kinda like i would be jumping from one
car to another they are like 20ft high

Yeah, moving about is basically going by foot jumping from car to car.

ActivityRank: 36 assuming that the zombies cant swim or float, i would go there to escape the mass migrations from one place to another until i could get to a safe house in (relatively) more safety. I wouldn't assume anything when it comes to zombies. If I was going off of assumptions I would have to assume that zombies will never be a problem at all. I feel the chance that it is possible for zombies to float is probably fairly high since humans are fairly buoyant, and if they can float all it would take to swim is flailing their limbs about. Not the best example of swimming but it would probably be comparable to all my attempts at swimming. And as NIE mentioned the ocean does seem much more dangerous, if you combine the dangers of the ocean with the dangers of zombies, well that just sounds a bit too much like some nightmares I used to have. |

I still say Alaska is a horrible location to go to since it is very dangerous
territory. Do you know how to sail? It is very complicated to navigate a
sailboat properly. Not to add that you need special gear and knowledge of
navigation for sea travel. Most of today's sailboats are equipped with high
tech navigation systems instead of normal compass/ map tools. These gadgets run
off of battery, but if you have ever been on a sailboat, there is normally
absolutely no means of recharging this gear unless you have gasoline. I suggest training yourself in engineering techniques and take a few sailing lessons if this is really what you want to do. |

No worries. Though I do warn you that these links only cover a very small
amount of engineering information out there. Engineering is a necessary evil.
It is a burden, yet an absolutely valuable trait to know.

Me and my friends have a very thaught out plan to go to a bridge. not just a
bridge. It is called a vertical lift bridge. and im lucky enough to have one
near where i live. Basicly our plan is to load up guns and supplys, half of us
go take trailers and moter homes and park them on this bridge. the other half
goes to a dock nearby and get boats. Then drive the boats and tie them up near
the bridge. Then we everyone on the midsection of the bridge, tie on a
ropeladder and raise the bridge up. The zombies cannot climb it hopefully, and
if they do we can just shoot them off. How will we get supplys? we climb down
the ropeladder into the boats, and drive to docks with Forces of about 5 people
fully armed and raid neerby food, and supply stores. (this little paragraph
isnt in full detail if you have any questions or comments feel free) always
room for improvement. The link doesnt seem to work. but just Google a vertical lift bridge and you'll get the idea (Check out my post in the "Bases" Discussion) |

barricade. Sounds like a good idea.

Yeah we'd have snipers up there, keeping watch. we'd also get a radio and
brodcast to try and find other survivors maybe. but we'd have to be carefull of
raiders and bandits. but overall i think its a preety solid plan

To be honest if I was to go anywhere during a zombie apocalypse I wouldn’t try
to hide behind barricades, they may make you feel secure but it dose just the
opposite it makes you even more of a target just more of a long term goal for
the undead. Swarm of undead would eventually discover you and after you
reanalyze there is too many, it is already over just a matter of time before
they brake through or you die of starvation or illness. I am sure even the most
prepared person will still fall overtime from barricades. I would be having a “zombiemania attack” I would not hide that is cretin death for sure, I would wonder and roam states looking for more Survivors like myself who are still alive. I think most people are just too scared or intimidated from how they look or move or even sound, but to me that are just another disease corpse that needs its head smashed in by my crowbar. I would not stay in any spot for to long the undead would defiantly be maybe a whole day behind me or less. So sleepless nights may be hated but at least I would still be alive. I would just pack up or find numerous energy drinks like “Monster” anyone could stay up for days on that stuff. But what I’m mostly trying to say is take what you see in the movies more realistically, the humans never win only postpone their expected doom. Yes it seems glamorous watching the firefights between the two sides when all hell brakes lose but the zombies out number human(s) thousands to one. “Dawn of the dead” for instance an amazing movie with a very authentic and believable story. Nevertheless, look at what happens that mall becomes their new home while night after night hundreds of undead come and eventually the zombies take over the building hurting many in the process. Even though they made it away from the building they had to fight though what look to me as nearly half a million zombies and took heavy casualty’s before even making it half way to the docs. even after they find their boat and get away to a near by island they still died because they had no backup plans or weapons other then a few pistols and a shotgun with maybe hundred rounds each. Witch may sound like a lot but isn’t. |

It never showed that they made it or not but seeing how they didn't have that
much ammo I'm sure the zombies overpowered in numbers and all of them died. but
then again I could be wrong but I never heard anything about a second moving
coming out. The chance that they died is very high.

ActivityRank: 88 So sleepless nights may be hated but at least I would still be alive. I would just pack up or find numerous energy drinks like “Monster” anyone could stay up for days on that stuff. Relying on energy drinks to supplement sleep is not a good idea. Read up on what I've written about sleep, you'll see that there are many effects of sleep deprivation that are detrimental to your health. Not to mention you'll outright burn out your body running on energy drinks. All the caffeine and sugar dehydrates your body, speeds up your heart, and causes miserable crashing after the effects wear off. Not ideal conditions for being on the run. |

Ya what cap said because if you don't get that much sleep one of your sides of
your brain will fall asleep. Which leads me to a question, which should be on
the subject off topic, but I don't feel it is neccesary. If half your brain
goes to sleep and you dream of jumping off a cliff, would you die or will you
wake up?

There is no evidence to suggest that dreaming of your death will cause you to
die in your sleep. I've actually dreamt of being shot through the head before,
and the dream simply changed. I've never heard of sides of the brain falling asleep, but that is an interesting concept. Do you have a source for that? I'd like to read into that more if I could. |

Let us just be straight honest here with each other, you think that me
relying on something made for that very use is overkill to the human
body. “Well likes sink our teeth into this.” Zombie quotes you have to love them. “Teenagers are rapidly becoming the top consumers of energy drinks. Over 500 new brands were launched this year, giving teens a wide variety of styles, flavors and sizes to choose from. Although commonly marketed like sports drinks, which replenish some important nutrients lost during vigorous exercise, energy drinks have little proven nutritional value. Furthermore, the potential side effects should lead parents to give energy drinks a second thought.” Nevertheless, to me the side effects are worth the boost of energy I need to crack some undead skulls in. Therefore, I concur but am at variance with your statements and how that would affect my body and me because I am sure anyone could have the time to relax and make a healthy smoothie after a long day of running from the undead. Wait how would he find a blinder? <,< On to the next challenge Making a easy to carry all natural salad bar which can fit into an everyday joes backpack or pocket yes that is the key I’m sure. |
